I have got Voyage last February. It's the best eReader out there. Got it from US which cost around Rs. 13,000.

Many negative reviews about Voyage. Screen resolution is same as the freshly launched All New Kindle Paperwhite.

My advice go for the second one.

Voyage is due for an upgrade as well. Hopefully they are working on one!

Show me the negative ones. In fact it comes with sharper E Ink Carta HD display. And the paperwhite model is of 2015 hence obviously the resolution is matched.

Is the price difference justified for the Voyage? Of course you can go for it if you want the extra features. But what I feel it is not worth it and in fact many Voyage users are complaining about it.

so the only complaint is that the cheaper kindle paperwhite has similar resolution?

Price difference is not justified but you still get the adaptive brightness, flush glass design and PagePress technology. While in paperwhite (2015) you still have to rely on touchscreen for turning the pages. I am using Voyage since February and I have not found any issues.

I think it's better to hold out for Voyage 2 as it will come with Freescale IMX 7 1 GHZ dual core processor which will increase the overall performance. This chip is optimized for e Ink hence giving the reader truly refresh free page turns.

gave up after getting two units with display issues. this is why i wanted to get a voyage hoping that at least would come with a better quality display lol.
