Reliance Wireline Broadband in Delhi

I am a student at University of Delhi, and live adjacent to the University campus in a suburb called Vijaynagar (110009). Since, Reliance have no FUP limits and pricing was also attractive, I gave it a shot. But to my utter horror, the service is one of the most pathetic I have ever experienced. Even BSNL have better service and customer care than them. Sometimes the internet works like charm. While during other times, it would fail to get an IP assigned. Also, if anyhow, I were to touch the RJ-45 connector, or if somehow the router gets disconnected for a few secs, the IP would get released automatically and would take hours to get re-assigned. Recent problems include pings as high as 500 Ms to their gateway, along with timeouts. Loss during Ping is at an average of 50%. I am totally frustrated with this connection. Airtel is too expensive to maintain, while Nextra's reviews made me fell suspicious about its reliability. I am currently using Thunder 699 2Mbps Unlimited plan of Reliance. Can anyone suggest me a good internet connection?

2. FUP data: 100 GB
3. Post FUP Speed: 512 Kbps minimum
4. Pricing: Rs. 1500- Rs. 1800 per month.

Hathway has 50 mbps, 100GB at 6000 for 3 months. See if available in your area. Also check out Nextra, Tikona and Siti. All have good plans.
