Hey guys, two days ago I called broadband customer care no. at 1504 to reset my password.
There was a problem at my local exchange because of which my net wasn't working but after they sorted that out it still wouldn't connect saying my password or username is incorrect. I tried to change the pass from their selfcare site but the page wouldnt load. So I called the customer care to reset my pass.
The first rep who picked up did reset my pass and told me that a new one will be sent to my email within a day. After a day I called again and after 2 guys ending the call after I explained my problem,
3rd guy saying it didnt show broadband active on my account,
the 4th one did a reset again and told me to put 'password' in place of the pass which also didnt work.
The 5th time I tried I was told the new pass comes by email within 7 days!
Now I am sitting here frustrated and confused. Has anyone tried to reset the pass like this? How long did it take? Any information would be welcome.
Also I don't know which email are they gonna send this to. Is it the same one which I registered on their selfcare site? I get my telephone bills on that. The CC guys said it will be sent to the one which I provided when I got the connection, but this was way back before 2009 and I didn't have any email back then and probably never provided them any.
