Set almost 100 years after Captain Kirk's 5-year mission, a new generation of Starfleet officers sets off in the U.S.S. Enterprise-D on its own mission to go where no one has gone before.

Just started. My first series in the franchise. Did not check before getting it so just realized that this one does not have Shatner. But it does have Sir Patrick Stewart so that's nice!

the show is so calm. it's totally opposite of something like agents of shield. and the quality of humor... very impressive.

I have just watched 12 episodes and man this show is insane. Insanely funny and also quite intense in parts. Since I have not watched the previous series in the franchise, a lot of things do not make sense... The backstory about Klingon for example. But still massive fun.

The glorious moment finally arrived. Season 3 Episode 13. And the reason is Q. Of course.

Any episode featuring Q is the best.

Just wondering if anyone here is a tea aficionado? What is the big deal with Earl Grey Tea? Any local brand worth trying out?

Looks like I took more than a year to complete this show. I finally ended it today. And it has been quite incredible. This show is fantastic. Sure some episodes would make you drowsy but the overall quality and the characters are fantastic. Picard is awesome. A great show to watch if you are looking for something sci-fi.

Would be starting with the original Star Trek now featuring Kirk and Spock. I checked out the first episode. It is a much older show so the visual effects are pretty awful. But I guess after watching and enjoying TNG, it would be foolish not to watch the one featuring Spock!

Battlestar was a lot more modern. TNG is a classic. The focus is not war but exploration. It is a very different type of show. I am sure you would love it. If I were to compare it with a show that you have watched, it would be Stargate. The difference is that Star Trek is based in future and they have a ship (though Stargate ended up doing something similar) and is permanently in space millions of light years away from Earth 😛

arey sarr... netflix is waiting for me to watch all the series and movies before signing on a deal with paramount to bring the entire star trek archive on their platform.
