nobody here.............?

Looks like it. Give me some time, will check with a friend and confirm.

Talked to a friend who used to have BSNL Wimax. He said he used only outdoor CPE which gave him a LAN cable output. If you want WiFi you can go with any router with rj45 input and get WiFi across the home.

BSNL WiMAX has no such upfront cost. Will need a refundable security deposit of Rs.1000 for CPE and one month upfront rental payment for tariff plan you opt for. No need to buy the CPE. Check with your local BSNL Office for exact plan details. Coverage is not an issue for Outdoor CPE, can work at a tower distance of 15 Kms in rural and 4 Kms in urban setup. Service and support is not an issue from BSNL, have a dedicated tollfree helpline 18001801502 and is trouble free if configured properly.
Go for unlimited home @512kbps plan Rs.750+service tax. Add another Rs.40/ month as CPE rental. Go for a Outdoor WiMax CPE, for peace of mind. Buy any standard WiFi router from market to add to the CPE output and share wirelessly on multiple devices. Laptop, tablet, smartphones.

If looking for mobility - go for a USB dongle from any of the competition - private operators.

wimax

Hope this helps! 🙂
