if your sim is old, it might not cut properly. best is to get a new sim so that you are not left without a sim.

I forgot to ask one thing.

Does iPhone need internet to be on all the time?! I dont have internet plan.

Normally I have access to wifi but when I am out, if it automatically activates internet then I would go bankrupt! 😀

LOL Yes and No.

Yes because I know I am asking stupid questions! Which Apple should not be doing! But No because, I have heard Apple doing stupid things!! 😀

Because I heard that apple releases patches and updates without user knowing!

Now it can not do that without activating data connection right?!

PS: I may be completely wrong.

Disclaimer: I use a Nexus 5 and am a big IOS hater, but here goes

The iPhone 6 is a damn good phone. It does allow a great deal of control on what gets downloaded and what is not. A lot of the negativity for any product is spread by people who do not take the time to go through the gadget features thoroughly.

Try the phone, give it your best shot and see what happens. It is way better than the S5.

Yes will definitely give good amount of time!

But I like control. Self-Modifications etc. which android allows you!

Lets see.

Sell it!! and buy xiaomi MI note pro when it releases and still have ample funds to bash Apple..haha..(you can even think of buying its entire product range..haha)
have never been a chinese phone/brand fan but happen to buy note 4g(flash sales 10K) and have to admit am pleasantly surprised with the phone.(both form and UI)using it as a second phone ..use nexus 5 as primary..
Great to see so much being offered in 15K-20K category these days..

Believe it or not ... my mom's Xolo is more powerful and with more features than my Sony wt19i.

Both purchased with 1 and half year gap. But still 2nd hand sony wt19i was costing more than 1st hand xolo! 😀

I have Galaxy Note as Phone , iPad as tablet. I have played around with iPhones from friends. My take here inline.

  1. Just single SIM and not dual sim (that too nano sim)
* Dual SIM is personal decision. Being nano sim is not an issue
  1. Smaller than Samsung Galaxy S5
* Personal preference
  1. Not water resistant (Galaxy S5 is water resistant)
*Valid.
  1. CPU seems just 1.4GHz dual core (64bit) compared v/s 2.5Ghz quad core - dont know if 64bit makes a difference
  2. GPU PowerVR GX6450 (quad-core graphics) v/s Adreno 330 - dont know the difference between two
  3. 1GB internal RAM compared to 2GB in Galaxy S5
* Boy , never ever compare specs for iPhone with Android phones. Just stick to the features , usability and perceived performance
  1. 8MP camera v/s 16MP camera
  1. 1.2MP front camera v/s 2MP front camera
* 8MP is more than enough . Quality of the pic matters. Front cam ..if you love selfies it matters 🙂
  1. 1080p recording v/s 2160p recording (not that I wud use it though)
* We still have time for 4K.. Have bought your 65 inch 4K TV yrt?
  1. No external card slot (although 16GB internal is enough for me I suppose)
  2. No FM radio (my other friends would make fun of me on hearing this!)
*If you love FM, iphone is disAdv
  1. Non-removable 1810mAh battery v/s removable/replaceable 2800mAh battery
* Matters if you plan to use the phone for more than 2/3 years. I guess you have to walk down to iPhone service center in case of battery problems. I believe their service is good
  1. There are other nice features that are in Galaxy 5 not in iphone6
* Hmmm..don't say smart scoll, smart pause 😉
  1. I use LINUX so I will have many other limitations too (which I am not aware of yet)
*Yes it is problem as you need iTunes for important tasks like music sync

Something that you should be aware:
1) There are no common File explorer. This is very good for 'normal' users. No apps can mess up with other apps. You uninstall in a clean way. Andoid needs ..apps like Clean master to removes junks left by apps even after uninstall
2) Each app has it's own data ... Meaning you cant transfer a movie and try to play in different players. This is messy.
3) iTunes
This works, if you are buying everything in Appstore/iTunes.. For Indians, even if you are ready to pay $$$$, the content availability is poor.

To summarize iPhone is best, if you want live in their ecosystem and OK with the contents available for you. For the functionality what it does iPhone has good performance and lag free/almost crash free experience. iPhone is not for poeple who want to experiment and do tweaking around. This is what I would see for choosing iPhone for myself or others

Explain why?!

As of now I am regretting by keeping it!
