Tikona is a FRAUD company. CHEATED my money.

My Tiona user id 1111475641. I have taken Tikona broadband connection on 30-10-2014 from the salesperson called Raja (9791313171). He asked me pay 2 months rental plus Rs. 500 for installation. The total was Rs. 3034. I wanted the try their service for one day to see whether they give uninterrupted service or not. I already heard about Tikona's service is very bad through my friends. But, the salesperson promised me that I will get proper service, if not, I can disconnect and get the money back. So, I paid the full amount of Rs. 3034 on 30-10-2014. They activated my connection on 31-10-2014. But, the connection wasn't working continuously. My connection was disconnected very often. I called customer support to fix my problem. They claimed that the problem was fixed through online. But, they never fixed it. I called every day to rectify my problem. But they couldn't fix it. Then finally, I went for disconnection on 4-11-2014. One guy called, Vipin, agreed to disconnect the service, but he asked me to give one more day to resolve the issue. I agreed for that. One technician came on 5-11-2014 to my home and tried to fix it. The connection was good for 2 hours and then again I got disconnection problem. Finally, I told them I want to disconnect the service and switched off their modem on 6-11-2014 and disconnected it from my computer. My billing cycle is from 7th to 6th every month. And, then they sent someone to collect the modem, I hand it over to him. After all these, I called many times, they don't want to talk to me. When I raise request, they will call, but when I attend the phone, they just hung up. Finally, I was able to get answer from one customer support. He says, I won't get any refund amount. He claims that I was not ready to resolve the problem. What a BIG LIE!

The list is going on... Is there any way to get my refund amount? I can't let these cheaters keep on cheating the public.
 
I have same experience. When it comes to refund money, Tikona simply ignores you. I am in pune and if you are also here, we can try filing a complaint together.

Tikona has not refunded my money post disconnection even after 100 days are past and I have done multiple follow ups. Every time it is a sorry or some lame internal procedure given as excuse for further delay.


Below is summary of my experience for my refund case –
1. On22-apr, After completing all disconnection formalities, I received below email that refund will be given in60 days.
2. I followed up 6 times and sent 1 email also which has resulted in nothing but a sorry over calls and that refund will get processed.
3. In last call on July 18th 2015, I was promised that there is no further delay and refund will happen in 48 hours. Again it was a false promise by a fraudulent company.

Below call attempts were made in vain till now to Tikona customer care –

1 June7-2015 I was told that it will take minimum 60 days to get refund. No use following up earlier.
2 June 20-2015 60 days gets over on12Jun-2015.
I was told on this date that refund will be processed soon as there was some delay. No details were given what was delay.
3 July 4-2015 I was told that refund will get processed after 7 days post billing cycle end after 60 days of disconnection. It was a news to me as nowhere this condition was mentioned.
4 July 4-2015 I sent email to customer care asking where this term is mentioned. No reply till date.
5 July 18-2015 – 1st attempt I called asking for refund status. After too much insistence, lady brought someone else on phone who pretended that my voice is not coming and then lady disconnected phone.
I didn’t get any call back.
Note: I have voice recording of this call as proof.
6 July 18-2015 – 2nd attempt I called again. Lady name Pragati picked this time.
She informed that her senior named Niraj has assured that refund will be sent in 48 hours and I will get notification. She confirmed that in48 hours I will get notification with courier tracking number for cheque sent.

I just called your call center and I got to know that now I will be getting refund not after 60 days but two billing cycle post 60 days.
I am really frustrated with your services, first how you treated when I was your customer and now to get my money back. I would like to see these terms conditions mentioned in your website so can you provide me that link?

I am also intending to publish those links in public so that all new customers can know about these terms condition before they opt for your service.

All I can say is that you have learned your lesson the hard way and thanks for sharing your true experience so that atleast people who read this won't make the same mistake that you and so many more others like you did. Tikona is indeed a fraud company and all the good reviews that you find are infact written by their representatives. Even their employees use airtel broadband in their homes.
 
To all those expecting breakneck speeds at a decent price in and data limit in delhi,i recommend not to buy this pathetic service.This personally has been a harrowing experience from the time i switched my ISP from airtel to tikona.

There seems to be a never ending issue with their useless towers and their so called high level team seems to be working round the clock to ensure that the customer doesn't get this blasphemy of a internet.I almost have to call once a day due to some issue or the other.Either their rooftop device fails to catch their mediocre bandwidths or their device on the local tower seems too tired to pass the data packets and times itself out.

Please avoid this shitty service and search for other options,though there aren't many in delhi.May god help us and make these losers value their customers more.

True, my intent is same here as Tikona is hopeless that it would return my money so easily. I want to share my experience so that others can be saved.

my case is turning into a more classic game Tikona plays. Now in other website they have started saying that I owe them money as device was not returned. How come they sent a refund mail if device was not returned which was sent 10 days after termination?

world biggest fraud company, First they will say there is no installation charges but later they send u the bill for that, then they say that monthly plan amount is 500 but they send u bill for the 890 then everyone know about their slow speed and their customer care line waiting, no one comes up for fixing of problem. They day you ask them to close your connection , they will generate a fake bill and also make sure that you receive more than 10 calls/day for 1 year from their fraud collection agents , then later u pay to avoid such calls and then they automatically generate a new bill for reactivation and send a new bill and this whole scene goes repeated every time. Best way search their ceo number on linkedin or ROC or from various Business websites and call him and ask him to refund your money and make sure u call him at midnight. Then only u receive charam sukh only for all your pain u suffered.
