I am posting this in a new thread because it gives up to date information on the state of their customer service near the end of 2014 after they are heavily promoting their Tata DoCoMo brand for broadband.

Just so anyone planning to take a new connection knows, if the connection fails there will be no response whatsoever from Tata.

My fibre link has been physically cut since 18/Oct/2014. Complaints are completele pointless and no one has shown up since, despite repeated calls.

Good thing I have a backup Airtel connection which has 99.99% uptime. I can't stress the importance of having a backup connection, even if it's going to cost you 10k a year, if you can't live without Internet. Try to get a retention plan at a cheap price like Rs.799.
