Well, as far as I know, you can forward a port to only one internal IP address. For example, to you can forward port no. XYZ to 192.168.1.5. If you try to forward this same to port number to multiple LAN machines, how is the
router supposed to know which packets are destined for which machine?
The solution here, I guess, is to use different ports for each machine.
Which brings to me this
crucial question: are you trying to connect *to* your LAN machines from the internet via
VPN, or are you tring to connect *from* your LAN machines to a VPN server on the internet?
In your first post, you said you are not able to connect to the "intranet" through VPN. Can you explain this fully, by giving examples? I just want to get a clear picture what you are doing before trying to see how to get it working.[/b]
lets me explain it first . We have 10 computers in the ofice and the WA1003 woirks as
ADSL modem + router ( DHCP enable ) we have a firewall at another site which supprts PPTP protocal . All the computers dial a pfixed ip from their computer thru the VPN dialing protocol from the
windows and on verification of the pwd the handshaking takes place . This function is not working after we have uupgraded to the WA1003a from the Smatmax 882 .
Simply speaking , how to enable "VPN pass thru " at the WA1003a .
Port forwading is not working for multiple connections .
