Let me explain my prob.I have been using the Beetle yozan (tera 100u) for the past 3 years in Manipal karnataka, recently i shifted to delhi and have taken a new airtel connection but am using my old modem. Now every time i try to use Torrents i get a blue screen error with the message "IRQL Not Less Or Equal" I had the same problem before also but that time the airtel guys asked me to change the encapsulation setting from RFC 2516 to 2364 and my system stabilized, but when i try to do that now my modem refuses to log on to the server and gives an 721 error. Airtel techs have not been able to help and are suggesting i change my modem is there any way to fix it or will i have to go in for a new modem. My system is Win xp media edition with zonealarm pro and mcafee antivirus

Why don't you just have them replace your current router with the new Beetel (its not Beetle) 220BX? I have never had any issues with it and it is very customizable. Is there any particular reason you want to hold on to your current modem/router?[/b]

No particular reason just that fact that i had bought the modem from airtel 3 yrs back and i have never had any problems with it till now guess will ask to put in the new one in

I guess I can help (I had that problem when i connected via usb even on 220BX)This problem is caused because the usb driver is not able to handle too many incoming connectionsand in torrents you may connect to 100 of peers so the usb driver crashesBSOD aka blue screen of death are generally caused by driver problems. You may do 2 things:1. Reduce the number of incoming connections(if u use utorrent goto options->preferences->BitTorrent and reduce the number of connections in both fields you see there)2. Write your own driver (if u know how to)3. BEST SOLUTION BY A MILE! get a LAN card and connect via lanThough if u are already using a LAn i guess its not the same probelm i used to face!Feel free to thank me if that works (it worked for me (option 3))

  thanx a lot thom, i have already dumped my old modem and got the beetle 220bx installed on my LAN and its humming away fine !!!. I had tried reducing the no of connections but anything above 10 was enough to trigger the blue screen so making any downlods well nie impossible.
