I have been using the final retail of Vista Ultimate. Can anyone tell me how to change the colour of the taskbar in Vista. The black colour is awful.The blue taskbar of xp was much more decent.

guys, i'm sure u don't have the licensed version, so keep the conversation under the wraps 😛
 
is it something that after it is activated the black taskbar gets changed to transparent?
 
as soon as I maximise any window the colour of taskbar becomes black and also the active window top bar becomes black. if the windows are not maximise than the taskbar is green transparent. Is there anyway to make the taskbar permanent transparent? any skin? Also PS.I dont want to alter any system files !
 

the above theme will change ur taskbar to perm trans! but u willl hav to mofidy the uxtheme.dll file which is a sys file.i hav used it n its quite cool ! 🙂
