Number active on both networks

So, I'd applied for MNP to Vodafone (from Dolphin) for my secondary number. Today, the Vodafone SIM got activated and for some reason, the MTNL one didn't lose signal.

So, here I am having a single number active on both networks. Can make outgoing calls; and send and receive texts on both. However, incoming calls are sent only to the dolphin number. Neither CC has any clue whatsoever to what went wrong :/

It'll solve itself by tomorrow morning. Use to happen a lot when mnp was newly introduced. Pvt. Operators improved on this but may be still happens with mtnl, not surprised at all.
 
Hmm. Looks, I'd forgotten to post an update. Last night around 2, incoming calls started coming on the Vodafone sim. But, the mtnl one still works for outgoing calls 😛 So, for all practical purposes I'm now 'completely' on Vodafone.

And the pack for which I'd intended to switch to Vodafone has now been discontinued. Stuck for 3 months now. 🙁
 

Yeah i find postpaid a lot better when you don't have to keep track of pack n validity etc.
