I have a BSNL broadband connection, which I use on a TP-Link TD-8817 ADSL modem in PPoE mode.
In order to use this connection on my TP-Link TL-MR3220, I have to change the PPoE mode to Bridge Mode. I have done the same and connected the modem to my wireless router. After entering the username and password in the router's settings, the connection is shown as established by the router. Although, the 'Internet' light on the ADSL modem does not light up, it does indeed get connected. However, some sites open, and some don't. I can't figure out why this is happening. Can somebody help?

Are they opening through proxy ?

Your computer might somehow be opening pages from your computer cache.

Try entering your username & password for the DSL connection on the Modem (Not the router).
