Well you heard the topic. Both are in Delhi, both give 512kbps Unlm fo around the same price, and I desperately need a 512 kbps. Dowtimes for about 1 hour a day is an okay from my side as long as it doesn't happen often during prime times (that is, 6pm to 10pm and all day on holidays 😛)And ofcourse, I use Torrents, Emule, Limewire basically. I don't use IRC, never will, DC++ maybe if I feel like it. Monthly usage will jump to around 45gigs/month excluding uploads.Which suits me most?
 
well i have been using the exatt 512k plan for a few of months now...till last month the speeds were good...60K constant...but now they have capped the speeds to 45k which really sucks!!!the only good thing is there is hardly any downtime...
 
Both r buggers! Have Airtel instead 512k for first 12 months by that time i am sure prices will drop.

I would've, if they were giving the plans for their existing users. I already have Airtel and they will only give 512kbps to new connections.
Airtel has started to suck here and I don't want to be trapped within 25kBps maximum speed on their 256 anymore.
 
Go for Tata.I heard that they give 50-60kbps constant donwload speed.BTW - WHich one has better upload speed?
 

i'll go with tata 512k any day... i used to be on exatt 512k, and it was a bloody nightmare in terms of downtimes, speeds and customer support... in short, everything!! now i've been using tata for the past 3 mths, and recently switched to the 512k ul plan earlier this month... it's been a relatively smooth ride so far, constant speeds ard 58-60kb for BT, http downloads etc
