Hi, im thinking of going for BSNL. Should i go for Home UL 900 plan or the 500 plan which has 2-8 unlimited.I download a lot of stuff form the net. Also how many days does it take to get the connection, since i stay in dombivli.🙂Thanks in advance.

You can apply and wait indefinitely, since, the authorities themselves are in dark. No one answers correctly. As per orders from highups, after every collection of 20/25 applications, all connectsions must be released forthwith. If they can not provide modem, then they can inform the customer to fetch one from the market. If you can provide your own modem, then you can approach the authorities to check whether they release the connection immediately. but anyhow, they have so far been releasing within 2 months, but they say you have to wait for atleaset 6 months. Cost, speed, performance, value for money, satisfaction, and the feel of speed can only be felt on Dataone Broadband, all others simply suck. If you can keep awake till the wee hours i.e. 2.00 am to 8 am you can pick up the Home 500 otherwise, 900 UL is good. Since many users advise disconnecting the connection at or before 2.00 am and reconnecting after 2.00 with some 10 minits gap to ensure our clock and bsnl server clock differences, and again disconnecting before 8.00 am to avoid all the downloads being billed.

Thanks 4 the reply yaar.Since the net connection which i have currently at my home sucks.I just get 8kbps speed for 700 bucks.By the way what is the speed that u get in 500 ul in the night and any idea of speed in 900UL.

The time taken to provide connection depends from exchange to exchange , i got mine within 3 days.

yeah.. i guess its a choice of 2 things..convenience but lower (actually decent) speeds or speed (mind numbing) but.. really crazy NU times..

The other day i had been to BSNL office for the connection and the women on the counter told me it takes 2-2.5 mnths for the connection. Is it really this way.I stay in Dombivli by the way.🙂

they tell that everywhere.. but.. sometimes.. it comes pretty quick.. i'd say to dont cut ur other line just yet..
