Dear broad band users,
1. I am using Airtel prepaid phone (Circle Jaipur Rajasthan).
2. I took 3G Data plan of 500 MB around 4th July 2014. It is widely publicized by Airtel that Data roaming can be used anywhere in India .
3.I went to NCR region on 24/25th july 2014 and I found that Data plan is not working there.
4.A call to 121 could not give any satisfactory answer.
5.Later on in my phone ( Nexus 5) there was a prompt that if I activate data plan now ( while I was in NCR), there may be substantial phone charges.
Please clarify two things.
1. If I opt for data plan in this number and take it on roaming shall I also take a national roaming plan etc. And keep the data plan ON while going out of Region.
2. The data plan has to be kept on all the time while I am on roaming?
3. Or it can turned off once I reach NCR etc. and the put it on when I need it.
I find that data consumption shown by Airtel is too high. For example when I check mail , without any downloading or uploading, even then several MBs are consumed.
Thanks
