Hello,
You can go for BSNL Type-III or Type-IV modem, Type-IV is a Wireless Modem (which i use), this modem comes with 4 RJ45 (Lan Connections) 1 USB. Use RJ45 to connect your pc's from the
ADSL modem directly and configure MODEM to connect automatically in PPPOE mode. In Type-IV you can even make your home a Wi-Fi Zone( Which i have). You just need the RJ45 Cables, ask any Computer Tech guy to crimp it for you.
Thanks

Hi arm,
I have decided to go with wireless. I want to setup the same system (3 Desktop computers sharing Dataone ul900 coneection) but with wireless. I want one PC directly wired with cat5 cable and other 2 with wireless. Type four modem is sufficient to do that. Now I wanted to ask you that, for using wireless, did you used some wireless card with your ADSL modem provided by BSNL? Did you purchased that card seperately? Cost? Because some modems has a slot to insert that. What is your model? Does it need that?
As I have Duplex home, and my room is on 1st floor, I wanted to place the modem there. I will share that with my own computer (which is in same room), my dad's computer (which is on ground floor) and
brother's computer (which is near my dad's room i.e ground floor). Now Can I be able to do that? Do I need the PCI Wireless Network Adapter card for each PC? What will be the cost of that card? What is the range of the modem? If I could get the 3d map, can I post it onto this forum to be more clear with my setup? How?
