ACT Broadband pathetic customer service

Hello,

I have been using ACT Broadband in Chennai for quite sometime and I can say their broadband customer service is the worst I have ever seen. No response .First Let me tell the issue, The server box was placed in my house neighbourhood. People in that house vacated. Since my neighbourhood left the place, I have been without an internet connection for the past 10 days. One person, Venkatesh( Engineer from ACT) told 6 days back , whether he can install the server in my building , and I gave him the approval and our apartment secretary approval as well.

He told me that the next day, they will change the server box to my place. It hasnt happened yet. Called the customer service (15 times) for the complaint ,giving the same answers ,"We' ll forward the complaint to the concerned department" For 5 days its been like this. No response from Customer Care. No response form Venkatesh (Who apparently switched his phone off),So i couldnt contact him . From June 28th ,I have been facing internet downtime due to server issue. No one has taken any action. So I took the matters into my own hands ,called the Nodal officer Suresh in Bangalore thrice(All three times he is in a meeting,He ll never talk) no response from any team. Out of all the experience , this is the worst ever service I have ever experienced.

Hello broadband.act,

i need this issue sorted out quickly. This is not for casual browsing , I m complaing about. I have some office work to do, which i do it in my home .My Bosses are smashing me due to the non availability. I m really getting frustrated with this kind of treatment I getting from you people,not realizing what is at stake here. I have been using ACT sine February, and I have never faced an issue like this till now. I never thought the service would be this bad, that I had to make a complaint in this forum to get a reply .

i am really getting frustrated . No one is acting on the issue quickly. Very Poor service .i mean it. If u dont resolve this issue ,two possibilities are gonna happen . Firstly I m gonna drag you people to the consumer court, Secondly, this month will be the last month I will be using ACT. I ll switch it to airtel itself. In airtel i had only 2 Mbps plan only, but their service here was excellent. But I doubt your service ,not only in Chennai, from reading other reviews ,its worse everywhere. Lots of internet downtime. Shame on you people
 
I wonder what percentage of people actually drag their service provider to consumer court after claiming to do so. 🙂

Meanwhile... You can tag them by using the @ key. @broadband.act would ping them.
 
@chromaniac My Father is a Lawyer, But i would choose the 2nd option. i dont have time to waste on these people. Its been 8 days , and i m without any sort of connection. No one takes reponsbility. their name is only ACT ,but they dont act
 


@ACT Broadband Thanks for resolving the issue . I havent had an issue like this for like past 5 months , and this last 8 days have been very testing . The issue is resolved now.If u hadnt resolved this issue today , i would have gone for a different carrier. Pls respond to people's queries quickly or they might get frustrated .Thats my feedback.

Dear ACT broadband,

Its hardly been a month that I've subscribed to your broadband internet connection and I'm already extremely frustrated, disappointed and disillusioned by our customer service level. I stay at Krishneel Kutir, Near Ayyappa temple, Banaswadi Main road. This is the 3rd time within 2 weeks that i've lost my internet connectivity. Everytime I call up customer care, they say the issue will get resolved in 24 business hours i.e 3 days. The technical person visits. does some quick fix and leaves. I get connectivity for an hour or so and again it is lost. Why can't ACT provide a permanent solution to the same problem recurring millions of times, it doesn't need "rocket science" to resolve such issues, believe me, I myself, am a Communication Engineer. Your tall claims of 15 Mbps speed and 40 GB data speed falls flat if I've connectivity only 10 days in a month. I've seen worst service levels to the likes of BSNL, but, ACT's service level falls even below BSNL. Do you really believe people don't have option or your 15Mbps/ 40 GB claims can retain customers? If you really believe that then you are living in a fool's paradise. Hathway, Airtel everybody offers similar speeds with better service. Its better that you take customer grievances seriously lest Atria, I don't think you'll survive even a year.
