HI,
I subscribed for MTS Mblaze WIFI ULTRA on 13 May 2014. I live in Madipakkam, chennai. The plan that I subscribed was 40gb unlimited at 9.8 Mbps at 999.
1st week of usage - Speed 256 kbps
2nd week - Speed 60 Kbps (Complaint registered with MTS)
3rd Week - Speed 25 Kbps(Complaint still open)
4th week - Speed 20 Kbps(Complaint escalated, TRAI)
5th week - out of options.(The guy who sold the product to me asking me to terminate it and not to complain anymore!!!!!!!)
Can someone suggest a ISP that will work in Madipakam. I already inquired about broadband(no connections until 2016). Tikona my previous connection(Dial up connection was better than this). Inquired about ACT, BSNL EVDO but in vain.
It would be great if someone can suggest a good ISP that could work better than the above one's.

Hi Guys,
Finally I Terminated the MTS Ultra Blaze as the technical person informed me that the Tower is 0.7 kms away from the device and will not get maximum speed (infact as mentioned earlier I was receiving only 30 Kbps). Guys please check the speed before you pay the full amount as its once paid then
 
Hi I am living in Tambaram west. Any idea about the signal strength. Today I enquired at a shop. They guaranteed fair speed here. I don't know to trust them or not.
 
I asked for demo. It seems they will show you demo only on condition that you subscribe. West Tambaram is 2kms west to selaiyur.
 
are they asking for payment for demo??
 

Already told him that I will not pay unless speed is satisfactory. He sounds like not interested. I also stopped talking to the guy after that. Just want to know from the existing users about their experience.
 
i can tell you in selaiyur...no operator was good...all were givng below average speeds....I've used the regular MTS...and it was giving around 100-200Kbps B/W...
 
I was previously staying in Pallikaranai .. wired broadband has been a problem and people who promise their speed is not what they promise not even 1Mbps - i went with vodafone 3g data card 5GB unlimited plan and lived with it for few months...

Mahesh - you should put a write up on how to raise issue/complain with TRAI .. if already existing could you point me where please. thanks

Guys ,
Apologies for writing in this old thread.

I recently moved into madipakkam , my location is near LIC nagar @Ambedkar street - its a border area between s.kolathur and madipakkam.

Please kindly let me know whether MTS dongle will work here, i purchased a mts postpaid connection but the speed sucks its mostly less than 200 kbps , speed oscillates between 30 kbps to 200 kbps.

Please share your thoughts.
