I think so. His downfall starts from beginning of this Century. He is not at all that Tendulkar we saw in 90s. Surprisingly no one has the dare to make comments about his batting faultiness. I think this is one of the major reason for his downfall. In all these years he struggled to play strokes on offside. I hardly saw a productive cover drive from him. Now he makes some silly excuses for his poor performance. I remember one famous proverb: “A bad workman blames his tools”. This is the story with Tendulkar. I think his presence may prove costlier for India in the next World Cup. I am damn sure he is not going to be dropped from the team for any reason( 😉 ). No one has the guts to do that. For the benefit of the team he should say good bye to international cricket.

Yup he is not the same and he is not accepting it.. We keep on hearing from him tht my body is getting older and its not flexible as before blah blah.... Now when u think tht in ur mind I don't think u will be any better in cricket field... See example of mcgrath.... just days before retiring he was saying I still feel like 22 yr old man... Its all in attitude....Also sachin nowdays is making very bad gestures when getting out (like going down on knees on the pitch).... He just don't look like sachin anymore.... sad but true 🙁

He is now a collector of runs rather than contributing to India's victory, just makes his average look healthy........makes his customary 30-40 runs and get out to play ludo with Sehwag in the dressing room. :Last time score was 199-54 in favour of ala Sachin.

Yes he is getting old .....those legs does need rest....but I want him to retire after the world cupnot before that ....

he should retire for good...for his good, for team's good, for country's good...

exactly. nation does not need another hero who just keeps on dragging on and on and on. like kapil did.

WTF. He scored 100 from 70 odd balls. Reminded us like old Sachin crushing bowlers like non other. Its very easy to critisize but who will take his place. Many new players shines for some times and then goes away.Remember the saying, "People always throw stones at tree which is full of fruits".

home ground dude......ok his innings was good 100 off 76.......thats jus one of those rare performances....that too on home ground. there no bloody consistency!!!!!!he's actually playing for his personal stats.....

how many matches he has won for india in the recent YEARS?what is his contribution to team victories?the point is... make him accountable.saurav has just said one thing logical in many years now... Sachin cannot be dropped. no one in the selection committee has the guts to do it. if he does not play well... drop him. dont make excuses of injuries.

He surely must be dropped from ODI team after world cup.... West Indies have slow and low pitches which will be suitable for sachin.... I hope he performs there... Tht will be a nice farewell to him....

This is just stupid. You first score 41 Hundreds and then talk about benching Sachin. He is a great asset to the team. Excellent outfielder, part time bowler. Batiing is awesome.he is a team guy and should not be benched
