recently, a friend mentioned being involved with senior level HR at bharti, and agreed to redirect stuff to, say, the senior VP marketing at airtel-bb. how can we use this opportunity? it seems to promise much more than what each one of us achieves (or is denied) when we call up airtel customer care, and fume at the bullshit programmed responses we receive.let's try to work towards a manifesto of sorts. as in, the goal could be to prepare a document which (irrefutably) argues a case for: 1) faster and better speeds, 2) the absurdity of data-limit plans.

yah....lets do it guys...come on.

Excellent! Will try to think of stuff. In the meantime, could you find out what the news is on new packages and IPTV? Any details including when we can expect them to be released would be appreciated.

I hear somewhere.. can't find the link now.. that Airtel's IPTV is going to launch in Q4.

I don't care for IPTV anymore. The reason is that i have allready invested money in Tata Sky.But I hope they give FTA channels on their service at a very nominal cost.

and for pay channels they charge Rs. 5/- i guess...but what about the no. (variety) of channels??

using it for the second tv set at home. or ur computer... if the rates are cheaper than dth.

I got two stb's allready.... one for the tv and one for my pc 😕Let's wait and see wait happens. But on much more serious note i would prefer more speed than having Iptv 😛

I just got a call from Sunil Mittal. He said that the senior executives he had observing this forum conveyed to him that two people would prefer more speed than IPTV, and so Airtel is scrapping IPTV and giving us more speed.

Ahhh! Such lovely dreams....2 mbps....IPTV...sigh!
