Folks , I am on a Home UL900 plan currently and am looking to swtich to Home 500 , with unlimited night surging option. Please let me know if between 2AM and 8AM existing users get speeds upto 2Mbps.Thanks

As per my experience the speed is variable ....I get around 80 KB/s to 120 in torrents and 145 to 200 in http and ftp downloads..during night time .....but someday I even got 12 to to 24 ...Quite satisfying ....even if the speed fluctuates ...and I am living with it

No ISP is gonna give above 512 kbps on NU plans...coz ppl like us are gonna dload whole night......and also for free!so better remain contented n when the right time comes.... u'll get the right thing...

and frankly speaking, it's just a matter of may be month or at the max 3 months...after that ur hard disc will be full and u won't know what to download...everyone gets out of this broadband syndrome very soon...at least i am out of it...now i just want the speed so that i can download fast and don't have to waaaaaaaait for something to download...

i never got 2mbps .But only when i used a download manager(flashget tweaked version) i got an average speed of 1.8 mbps

Dude, according BSNL's latest brochure, u can get any speed ranging between 256 kbps to 2 mbps , neither less than 256 kbps nor anything more then 2 mbps, u can't even complaint to BSNL if u r getting 270 kbps

ok but is that range only between night and morning or anytime? in the bsnl broadband Tariffs it only shows "256kbps" wher as other plans show "256kbps / 2mbps".
