it depends on the conditions of the user as per temp....concern ,see the inverter based technologies are the future now ...they save more than 65%...better than the current gen...including 5 star rating ir conditioners which never go near the inverter based but its too expensive ...to buy when these getting and comes in decent prices more people used to it and the prices definitely going down.....

Go with either Sharp or Panasonic CS-12PKY. Pana has loads of sensor based features which gives you extra power savings.
Don't just trust big names, do your home work, like what is the COP, or indoor & outdoor noise levels of the unit. Some of these parameters may matter you more than others. I had Hitachi earlier, which I replaced last year, and I was surprised then to be told that they do not believe in inverter based ACs since they had not launched any at that time.

thats really expensive for a 1 ton model, I bought a 1.5 ton sharp inverter for less , maybe this is a newer better model but i also remember reading that ACs were going to be cheaper after this years budget .

I had shortlisted AH-XP13LV which is around 36k, but this had some more features. And this is actually 1.1 ton, no idea whether 0.1 ton would make a difference 😀
