Experiencing Frequent Disconnections/reconnection .......any Idea Why ?

hey yaar one of my friends(neighbour) jus took a new mtnl BB conn, and has been experiencing instabilty in his conn, the phoneline has no noise wotsoever. The prob is while browsing suddenly the adsl light starts blinking and conn is lost, then after 2-3secs the connection gets re-established on its own. any idea why this happening and how to rectify it ????
 
first make sure splitter is installed correctly [ Refer some diagrams drawn sumwhere in this forum by members]second its mtnl's problem and launch complain mebbe lineman needs to fix ur neighbour's line.third.. ask ur frnd to be member here and personally post his queries 😉 kiddin ofcourse

If there r too many parallel connections sometimes this happens due to loose contacts. Chk all the wire junction points from the splitter to the junction box.

he has already got his line checked once and the line found no prob. splitter i had already asked him to get it replaced which is already done, i've also seen it day before yest and it appeared to be installed fine ........phone line+dsl working fine simultaneously. i was thinking cud it be a firmware prob or some settings prob in the router

recent....hmmm nahin yaar cud'nt find anything relevant, cud u pin point some exact url which cud follow ???
 
i was justt wodering where was this frequent disconnection topic disappered , my telephone line use to have some kind of disturbance which was caused due to cable fault down my bldg and that was finally repaired by mtnl in 24hrs but now inspite of my telephone line being crystal clear i have this never ending frustarting problem of my adsl light goin off automat.... and the switching on automat....... now my question is can this problem be resolved from mtnls end or my end ? could this be a problem with the exchnage?.pls help guyz .just for info i dont have any other parallel connection for this triband at my place.
