how much are you resistant to DPI. i dont see a single word on DPI.
w/o DPI your service is worthless! say something about DPI and did you enable it?
i know about tunneling, but i see no jack swat info about DPI.
i dont like my ISP doing a DPI on my tunnel.

Would DPI work if you are using a VPN service?

DPI is deep packet inspection. its used by ISP to sniff all packets. Its intercepted by ISP straight off the Cisco/juniper/alcatel etc etc routers. There are many ways to defeat DPI, question is how prepared are you to implement this gruesome process. ;-)

VPN traffic is encrypted no doubt, but you can perform a side channel attack and fish out all data. DPI is that.... plus much more sophisticates methods employed to sniff the data out. so you need to scramble the encrypted data. YES SCRAMBLE ENCRYPTED DATA. i dont know if you understand what i said/meant.

DPI on their own traffic would work I know. But VPN is already encrypted data. DPI on encrypted data would be useless because you would only get garbage right? VPN connection encrypts the transfer of data between your computer and the VPN server. That is the whole point of using the VPN.

a VPN proxy will encrypt then encapsulate the packets, your ISP will not be able to see what you are sending without highly sophisticated hacking, and attempting to crack the PKI between you and your VPN proxy (near impossible)

yes, but they can still sniff, using side channel attack they can fish it out. Unless you are a criminal or a high profile businessman or a paranoid/techie like me, you need not bother.
using side channel attack (SCA) you can decrypt the packet and get it decrypted.
there is one tool i know of its called softlaye.
these VPN is over tcp and or udp. unless you use vpn over icmp.
i dont know if you understand what i a saying..... if you dont?
