Hi,I want to know what is the maximum MTU for BSNL. If you want to find out what is your MTU please try the analyzer ar speedguide.net or any other source. Please don't look for the MTU value in the registry because if this value is more than the maximum value for BSNL then your effective MTU will be different. So I want to know what is maximum MTU for BSNL Broadband. In my registry my MTU is 1492 but when checked on the web I get just 1400. That is why want the value. Thank you in advance,

My result is 1466.

Okay try increasing your MTU and then check your value. You can manually increase your MTU by going through the Microsoft website or you can set them using TCP optimiser or Cablenut cmtutool.exeI am having a weird problem. Though my MTU is 1492 in the registry it says that it is just 1400 and I also found a component called Network Middlebox is changing my MTU. Now I don't know what is this Network Middlebox and how to get rid of this. My router is WA1003A series, Firewall is Zone Alarm Pro, XP Media Center is my OS.
