Apple iPhone

Bangalore was gave download speed of about 7.2 MBPS, versus a 2.2 MBPS in a 3G network.
7.2 MBPS or 7.2 mbps ? aritel 3G gives more than 5mbps in that case there wont be much excitement with the 4G and moreover its "AIRTEL" 😀

ooh. so airtel's definition of 3g today is 2.2mbps. and 4g is 7.2mbps? good stuff.
or maybe they are talking about megabytes per second 😀
7.2 (megabytes per second) = 57.6 megabits per second

looks like they ARE talking about megabytes. and these speeds are of course from their field trials. which means that you are probably never going to see it in real world conditions.

Airtel 4G throttle speed is 10mbps. Speed may varies depending upon the network coverage. For 1 point 3-4 mpbs (Aprox.)
2 points 4-7 mpbs (Aprox)
3 and more points 7-10 mbps

I figured out what he was trying to convey.
In your post, you quoted "4G network users will be able to download 10 standard movies within 30 minutes,"
But, he's only getting a maximum of 10mbps on his 4G. At that speed, it's theoretically possible to download only a maximum of 75 MB per minute which translates to 2250 MB in 30 minutes while the size of 10 standard movies will be 7000 MB, ergo impossible to download 10 standard movies in 30 minutes.

iOS 7.0.6 update patched a major SSL bug. Firmware now available via OTA or itunes ! 13 MB

i am from bangalore and is using airtel 4G on my 5s. things are pathetic here, 4G coverage is just too week indoors that my battery drains off in just half a day without any usage.
with throttled speeds of around 10Mbps it is not much different than already speeds of 7.5 Mbps
