photobucket now blurs images if same thing happens to imgur. Uploading directly to server is simpler and easier isn't it?

Adds a lot of annoyance for me. Backup, storage, migration and all that nonsense that comes with it.

Imgur is unlikely to disappear. Policy regarding hotlinking might.

not a lot of images are uploaded here so max all existing images will be 1 gb?

xenforo should have backup option without media files right?

i need to keep an offsite backup of the data. with imgur etc. i do not have to worry about images. just database. with images, i would basically be spending more time and money to do that. every server migration becomes a major hassle.

is it possible to add thread prefix of some way to highlight which ISP thread is about. On desktop if I am reading past 3rd post I cannot see which forum I am browsing.

the sticky search bar could be replaced with forum canonical structure.

I liked previous readable urls instead of current ugly ones, sometimes I have many tabs open and I have to recheck I am posting in correct thread. With readable urls I could see thread topic in url bar. Also when I am copy pasting urls to reply.

browser tabs kind of messed it up for a bunch of us. title tag is basically gone from the view.

i would see what i can do about making thread title more visible. if you are writing a longer reply, it might be a good idea to just add reply to thread url and load full reply page. xenforo for some stupid reason decided to keep it hidden with no access from quick reply section. i have been using reply for years for shitposting because it is just faster than loading the thread itself.

as for shorter urls... i have never liked how xenforo changes the thread url whenever you change the thread title. which happens way too often. i personally would have loved if it was a real permalink with a fixed length (longer thread titles generated way too long url). but since that's not possible, i had been switching between full and compact url over the past couple of years. now i finally decided to keep the urls short because switching between them is just a stupid thing to do wrt indexing.
