I remember that earlier we could attach images with our posts, I'm unable to locate that option anymore. Now we can just give an external link of an image. I tried to look everywhere, but couldn't find a way to attach an image to a post. So now is it that we can just have links and not the actual attachment or i'm just being blind?

I think he meant the option to upload attachments on the forum server itself which was available earlier rather than hosting it on an external server and then inserting the link. Is there a plugin for IPB whereby u simply browse to the image and it hosts it on photobucket or imageshack and simultaneously attaches it to the post? I've come across somethin similar on another forum.

i really am unable to find decent plugins for the latest version of IPB i am using. i am still waiting for a decent rss hack for this version.if anyone can find it feel free to send me links.as for hosting images...most images become irelevant outside the thread in questions. the backup of this forum already touches 100 megs... makes no sense taking backups of images when you can use sites like tinypic.com and others. need no registration and are easy to use...
