ISP
BBNL ( 10 Mbps, Unlimited )
I spotted a banner in RT Nagar, Bangalore today morning which advertised a new speed plan from BBNL - A 25 mbps @ Rs.999 pm.
When I enquired, I got to know that there was a FUP at 60 GB. Forgot to check what the speed would be post 60 GB data limit 🙁
I believe this has been introduced initally for RT Nagar and it would take couple of weeks before this plan is offered in other parts of the city.
With this plan, BBNL has cocked a snook at ACT Broadband( which offers 25 mbps -60 GB at Rs.1349 ). Its good to see such competition 🙂

Hello brother,
I have recently took BBNL broadband connection on 3rd February 2014 and yep I must say that the speed is rocking with no downtime I have faced till date. Its like Airtel broadband I feel with a promising speed on 10 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload which I never get in Airtel broadband.
The agent and the technician from whom I have got the connection is very helpful person and have called him now and then to get the details about my new BBNL broadband and he has always assisted me.
I stay in New Bel Road (Near RMV 2ND Stage / Ramaiah Hospital) and I must say the speed is awesome. Got to hear about the 15 Mbps and 25 Mbps plan that they have launched recently and this is for sure that they are giving a good competition to ACT broadband and only thing they need to do is to spread to all the corners of Bangalore City.
Long Live the BBNL broadband.

@Tarun - I agree. These guys are doing a good job and they are the only possible ISP who probably know the broadband requirements of the customer. Their FUPs and lack of it in some plans are awesome. I am planning to take their 25 mbps plan at Rs.999. At an FUP of 100gb I think it's a great value proposition.

Now a days ACT broadband is also fooling their customer. Giving a speed of 512 Kbps as a FUP gives a shit. You ACT people are just another piece of shit like the AIRTEL and BSNL broadband.
Its better to remain with Airtel other than going to ACT.
Its should be mandatory for every internet service providers in India to give keep as FUP as a 2 Mbps. I wish our beloved Indian government make this compulsory be it in a city level or in a village level.
