Thanks for prompt reply...but I had already changed from pppoe mode to bridge mode in my router and connected through raspppoe software in windows 98se. It gives error number 678.

I am facing the same problem with D-LinkADSL Router (model DSL-502T).
It works fine at my home connection, but when I try to install it at my office it gives error. The main diffrence is it shows a small yellow lock symbol on Ikon of modem in Networking connection
Do you have a firewall in your office computer?? or in the office network?? may be that is blockin it?? Secondly, Could you tell if ISP at both places i.e. your home and office are same? Coz they might have different settings.
Update your Win 98 SE with the Unofficial Service Pack and reinstall RASPPPOE Driver.Win 98 doesn,t hv a good networking support so it would be good to use Win 2000 or better.
