How're these two places green?
Maybe they dont have PM sensors, only gas Sensors

There are a lot of variables here. We would need a systematic management for it and that will take at least 5-10 years. I hope I'm wrong. Till then we'll be paying for clean air.

Yup, I agree with your point. When I wrote people I meant both the governing authority (legislative, executive, judiciary) as well as those governed(people).
Unfortunately, there is no cohesion when it comes to execution. But yes, things do look hopeful (the bio converter for rice stacks is one step in that direction), but initiatives like these do need to be ramped up. Playing unnecessary politics doesn't help in the long run.
Wasn't bursting crackers made from barium , arsenic and other chemical salts banned by the SC?. Last year was an excuse that manufacturers didn't have time to produce crackers certified by PESO. But this year too. It would have helped to reduce pollution to a great extent.

This is why it will take long for the pollution issue to be taken care of. The people who are supposed to deal with it can simply leave the city to save themselves. Something that Kejriwal also did in 2018.

niece had homework to make a ppt on lead poisoning this week. weird shit schools make kids do these days. copy pasting from random resources you find on google. that's research somehow.

Indian schools are getting there. In AES, students are supposed to select a topic, make a presentation and for a month or two, all the activities revolve around that. Kids can't get away with copy pasting information, they have to anyhow study it. The best part is that even the language development revolves around the same topic.
