Speed slowdown after 9pm...

I have Hathway connection in Vadodara, 4mbps plan.
Now, I have had some disconnection and slowness issues.
But what I have consistently noticed over the last 3 days is that the speeds are decent/fine in the afternoon/evenings, but somewhere around 10pm they drop from 3mbps around to 0.5-1.25mbps.
Any ideas?
 
Just getting overall bad speeds with Hathway. Any help?
We reached out to Hathway and they didn't really do anything.
 
Complain every single time the speed goes down. Take note of all the complaint numbers along with how much time it took to resolve them.
If in your complaint is not resolved in a few days, contact the nodal officer. Nodal officer details are available on Hathway's website, the contact info on TRAI's website is outdated.
 
Yes. But I have tried both a direct LAN connection to router and connection direct to Hathway cable with same results.
Hathway engineer came 2 days back, changed something (said issue was there were 10 people connected to same point my modem was...). Trying it this way for a few days, yesterday night speeds dropped to 0.4 Mbps though...
