It has finally launched. Cannot locate it on Flipkart or Junglee. Junglee has a listing but it seems for the imported units so prices are higher. Post here if you find a good online deal for the same.

why will it not? ahh.. the tv's without hdmi port? I guess not.

I think black one is the latest.

What exactly is Airplay?
Airplay is a technology used by Apple to stream music, videos wirelessy. You could also mirror your iThings screens to Apple Tv.You need a LAN setup for it.Btw at Rs. 7900 it is overpriced. I was expecting it to be below 6k atleast (since it retails at $99 or Rs.5400 in US.)Either way people gonna buy it !

Can you please recommend a GUD Mediaplayer with Youtube all those feautures compatible with Standard TV 😛leasantry: and HDTV 😛ositive: for future

Check out WD products. There are some local companies to selling similar products in the market.

Great WD Hard drive i have do they have a MEDIAPLAYER can you tell me about the availabilty of WD in Indian market and its price also

Check out their website and find the product that suits your requirement first.
Then search for that product on popular online stores like Flipkart and others.

I am not sure about Google TV. From what I understand it replaces your regular settopbox so that you can use it to check out EPG and scroll through the channels. I could be wrong though. It might not work well on Indian DTH connections.

Sure, it isn't compatible with any DTH/cable provider since it doesn't ship with any built-in univerasal dth reciever. I thought he wants a media player thats why I did recommend google tv.

Might not be a good option as it is mostly focused on playing content from online services like Netflix etc. I doubt it has support for all the popular media codecs that are downloaded from the internets.
WD and similar products from Amkette and Netgear might be a better choice as they would support practically every video format out there.

More:
AirPort Express is a Wi-Fi base station with AirPlay music streaming built right in. So you can easily set up a wireless network and stream music directly to your home speakers — all with one little device. Just connect your speakers to AirPort Express or use AirPlay-enabled speakers to create a whole-house musical experience. If you already have a wireless network in place, you can use AirPort Express to add music streaming in any room in the house.
I use it quite regularly. With loss-less streaming of digital data vis digital optical cable really makes the music listening experience very easy & clutter free.
