Assumption: 2mbps On 590nu Plan Confirmed

i am a user of 590NU plan in delhi and i am getting 2MBPS speed from yesterday. I even confirmed with my friends and they are also getting these speeds.but the problem is that the maximun upload speed is 256kbps(i.e. 30kb's per second)... that means that using bittorrent we wont get download speeds anything above 100kb's per second because in bittorent the download speed is related to your upload speed and so we really cant use the full benefit of our 2mbps. But in direct downloads speed is 290Kb's per second..Well something is better than nothing!!!Way to go MTNL, they rock!!!

Looks like ur topic of posts says there is an official aanouncement by MTNL. Mods plz change the topic.
 
So people are getting 2 Mbps on 256 plans? Could this be related to why many MTNL customers in Delhi have been getting no service at all for the last few days?
 
it seems they're doing it in a phased manner, exchange to exchange...so guys just chill and wait for your turn...though they've not mentioned it officially anywhere that unlimited plan(s) will get 2 mbps. rather they've mentioned that they won't get it...but still it's happening...so those who haven't got it yet, don't get disappointed...just wait for a while...enjoy!!! 🙂
 
Who knows might Be !! My net was down from 11:00 am today, called cc said all nos starting with 25 & 27 r down. Just now it came back or i checked it now only.
 
im getting max 210-215KBPS on well seeded torrents.im on dsl nu plan in mumbai and enjoying such speeds since a week.
