I experienced boost in my download speed on 29th Dec, as officially 2 mbps speed was started that day. But that is not constant till date.
I see vary in the speed every now n then. Sometime good speed n sometime speed as low as 8-10 KB/Sec.
Talked to the Broadband section, they told me that still work is going on at the gateway from where the bandwidth is supplied. In weeks time constant speed of 2 mbps will b provided.[/b]
Hey Rohin which plan do you have and have you considered optimizing your connection through TCP Optimizer and TuneUp Utilities 2007? I would suggest not to do so because the current variable dataone connection speed messes up everything as you can't choose any pre-configured optimization strategy [there's no connection speed that says 256kbps upto 2 mbps in the optimisation program
🙁] i get really low download speeds but surprisingly the browsing is faster. any suggestions? should i revert to
windows default settings? and by the way which site do you trust to get accurate speed tests? thnx in advance
