that now my isp is p4networks instead of 5netWTH!

Seems like your LCO shifted to them.

While they may have done this to increase their profit margin (the "PIN Rate" for the plan that is paid to P4N is probably less than what they pay to Fivenet), legally they can't do that without consent and signing a new contract - this would be a significant violation of licensing norms (KYC). If they don't have your signature on a legitimate contract bearing P4N credentials you may have good reason to take the matter to one of the many authorities, as you're probably not the only one (I assume you're willing to put the time & effort in to it, of course).
LCOs have a franchise agreement with the ISP which is why they are allowed to sell the services on behalf of the ISP (but not formulate their own plans) but as far as paperwork is concerned, you are the ISP's customer, not the LCO's - kind of like if you go to McDonalds, you're a customer of McDonalds corporation (their logo, recipe, ingredients, cooking methods, receipts, the restaurant decorations, marketing, pricing etc - all the parent company's stuff) even though that outlet may be owned by someone independently; who merely employs the locals and pays McDonalds a franchise fee and percentage of the revenue for the privilege of being part of the bigger brand.
...and I think you'd be pissed if you went to McDonalds for a Big Mac Chicken Maharaja Burger and got a KFC zinger or slice of Dominos Pizza (the theory being if you wanted either of those things, you'd have gone to those respective restaurants).

I'm from Thane, Brahmand. My LCO used to provide fivenet, but due to less profit margin stopped providing fivenet.

Now this is strange...Speedtest.net says my isp is p4networks.And whatismyip.com says my isp is five net What might have actually happened? Lco seemed confused and said "account was made on five net so it should be that only"Also had anyone heard about p4 networks?

I am on HNS and i also live in thane , my LCO is 1&1 , here too one of my friend is getting p4network instead of 5net .

Just log in to your 10.20.30.xx and check if it is showing your usage. If you are getting accessed and data is shown, it is fivenet, simple.

IIRC P4N was Exatt then X-broadband then Nivyah now Joister and probably something in between.
