Tatasky No Rent For 6 Months?

With CAS in scene both Tata Sky and Dish TV are offering some discounts1. TATA - 6 mths free subscription , installation 4k per STB2, Dish TV - 1500 installation per STBBoth offers only in CAS notified areasWhich one do u think is better to go for? Tata Sky or Dish
 
I will say Tata Sky... If u add 6 months free subscription it will cost u 4000-1800=Rs.2200....Still expensive than dishtv but quality and service wise its far ahead of dishtv...
 
yes, i think u have made a good calculation here.... it comes out to be 700 more for installation for 1st connection.... but definitely it is costly for 2nd connection.... Tata quality beats Dish TV by far????
 
As I said earlier....the offer is valid only in CAS notified areas.....so buy it at ur friends house and then take the whole thing to ur home

Yup in quality and service they r far ahead of dishtv....U r right for second STB it will cost u 3000rs.... But currently they r offering a scheme in tht too.... U don't not have to pay for tht extra STB subscription (which is 100rs per month) for next 6 months... So i guess u save 600 in tht too...If u really tight on budget u can go for dishtv also... its not tht bad too... But on 29inch tv u can see the difference of Tata Sky and dishtv.... Tatasky's software and hardware r also far more superior than dishtv's .... For more compartive review u can see users review here....
 

Since I am in West delhi......the offer is not valid in my area.....all i can do is buy it at my friend's place who lives in south delhi and then take the whole dish and stb to my place and install it myself.......but i think this workaround wont be that easy.....anyways i am sticking to my sucky cableguy who provides me with free cable tv access
 
Tata Sky's offer is valid for whole of delhi.... Ask customer care... My friend today got tatasky and he got 6 months free and he is from rohini... I also purchased a second STB for my PC and the dealer was saying me it will be free for 6 months ... But sadly for me its for new subscribers only not existing one 🙁 ..... Not sure abt wht dishtv is offering...
 
Yes, the offer is for whole delhi... i have placed the order today for 2 STBs... how long do u think i will get them delivered and installed?How is their service in this regards? Anyone got this installed within new scheme?
 
I didn't placed my order by phone...I bought it from a nearby shop yesterday and called them to schedule an installation...Today they called me around 4pm and told me tht they will be coming to my home tommorrow 10 am for installation 🙂
 
cool... i have ordered it on phone directly... they called me in the evening today and will deliver it tomm afternoon... that means i will have it installed on monday 🙂 CAS is coming in effect today midnight 🙁
 
Cool. Can't wait to see people's reactions when there channels get blacked out.
