Speed what's that I get disconnected so often that I cannot measure my speed wrote to helpdesk with a cc of the DGM 'broadband'. I use the 599 plan with a 1GB/mnth and 512 kbps 'speed'. 17-3-07 I get a reply from the cheeky devils of 'helpdesk' with a contact number (022 24361221 ) which is even worse than the toll free number, but no comments about fixing the solution & no news from the DGM yet 😱
 
I noticed that since the last two days, instead of getting 2mb (which I've been getting since Jan), I was getting very low download speeds. I then realized after doing a few speed tests that the bastards at mtnl had downgraded me to 228kbps!! I called today and the mumbai tech tells me that now nobody gets 2mb, it has been stopped!!! I told him how come my neighbor still getting it, and he says "hmm..his will stop very soon". I'm guessing this is false right? Anyway I called again and booked a complaint and the lady said she will re-upgrade me! The techie was lying right?
 
ofcourse he's lying..just another excuse to shake u off his tail..i have been downgraded a couple of times..each time a call to CC has yielded all sorts of weird excuses..i was told once that my line wasnt supporitng the speed, its only when i drilled into his head what the ADSL parameters meant and that they were adequate for my line did he keep shut and register my complaint..
 
man, these cc guys r real morons...they know nuts about broadband and it's technologies...u talk to them about something, they'll be talking about something else...it's really frustrating talking to them...my frustration is not with the broadband here, but now i'm getting to deal with their Dolphin cc...it's a real pain in the @$$ talking to them and making them understand something... :angry:
