How To Find Out If Plan Has Been Changed?

I recently applied for an upgrade from Home 500 to Home UL 900 Plus. The bsnl people said it would be done the next day.Now can anyone tell me if there is any way of finding out and confirming whether my Home 500 plan has been changed to Home UL 900 Plus? ( apart from calling up the bsnl people, that is 😉 )

Well this is quite easy. Follow these steps:

1. Visit the portal website of BSNL, where we check account details.
2. After entering username and password u get into the main page where u will b welcomed.
3. Then click Service Order Records, and see ur plan details of service u offered to change.

Mine is as below:

But change of plan will always take place from 1st of every month. As billing cycle is upto last day of month.
So even if u applied for change in plan in dec 06' it will be applicable from 1st January 2007 only.

I've already checked out the Service Order Records, but strangely it shows only this - "Service Name - Speed 256 Kbps" . It makes no mention of the plan i'm currently using. Is there any other way of finding out the plan i'm using?

WARNING : Do not start downloading anything until you get Home 900 Plan on website and until 1st of next month.

I had the same thing done. Changed from 500 to 900 , and it got changed within few days(21st nov), they will charge you for 900 plan (900+ one month deposit) , what all you used under 500 plan with me made nil.So it got changed on 21st nov for me , and what all i used from 1 nov to 20th nov under 500 plan (around 1.8 GB) was made nilA small correction , seems the plan changes from 1st of the same month in whcih you have applied for the change, they charged me from Nov 1st itself, when the actual plan change took place only on 21st Nov :mellow: :blink:
