Non Bsnl Modem

Hi,I have a Toshiba Laptop(has wireless facility,router,ethernet ) and my brother has sent me a Wireless Router(Belkin Pre-N Router — http://www.belkin.com/wireless/product.html)
Can i make use of this if i go for BSNL broadband connection?
Do i need to install any drivers for this?
I dont know how to go about it.
I spoke to BSNL office person.he said he cant give any details for NON BSNL modems

hmmm, from the diagram on the link, looks like you might need a modem too

@ prakash , you donot need any drivers for
connecting the router thru LAN / Ethernet .

your Belkin router can be used with Dataone .
just configure it like any other wireless router .

edit : as Vishalrao said , you may need
a simple ADSL modem to work with that router .
[ Huawei MT880 can serve the purpose ]
