The australian squad has been selected, it has been a pretty good squad but starc is injured and out. concerns are also over clark's fitness.

India's squad for the lone t20 and first 3 ODI's will be tomorrow, and yuvi is certain to make a comeback given his strong performances in the list A games.

and as expected, yuvi replaces dk, unadkat replaces umesh.
that's a pretty good squad, only if nohit was replaced by pujara that would have been a perfect squad.
Squad: MS Dhoni (capt), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Vinay Kumar, Amit Mishra, Ambati Rayudu, Mohammed Shami, Jaydev Unadkat

Pujara is inexperienced and also not a great fielder plus his fitness issues could have been a major factor. Rohit has done well recently as an opener.

Right, that's the reason he should be given more chances like 7 odi's on the trot.
the same way nohit has been given 100 odi's w/o been sacked. and still as a opener his average is a pathetic 31. In india's odi history no opener had such a low batting average after 100 odi's

Gambhir and Sehwag have done nothing and probably have played their last matches for India. Gambhir was a huge flop in his county stint and also in one Challenger match and Sehwag also was out of sorts.

I think Sehwag should become a freelancer and play for all T20 leagues for the next few years and peacefully finish off as a T20 specialist in 3-4 years time. Cant see him being a serious contender for India. Gambhir was ok only in ODIs, and may have been pursued as a 50-over specialist. Vijay or someone else could be pursued for the Test slot.

I haven't followed cricinfo in a while, but I think Pup and others wouldn't come to India. With Ashes coming in November, Australians wouldn't care if they have to send their B team. The most probable result would be 6-1 or 7-0 victory by India, the tracks will be super spin friendly and Ravindra butt cheese jadeja will wreck havoc.

Dude the Australian squad has already been announced and a full strength aussie team is coming.

Still the result would be 7-0 or 6-1 Indian victory. Australian team will be humbled again. They should throw a white towel to save the face. Lol. Australia is all world class with marginality.India would win but I want that TWIRP jadeja to be thrashed by Aussies.

And i want nohit to flop badly. But that would not affect his career as he will be again selected irrespective of performance. I think he is the only player not only in india but worldwide to be immune from x no of flop performances.

Star sports/espn made a special program on rohit sharma calling him a "beneficiary of rotation policy flopped once again, but he is a very talented bloke...lol", during India's tour of Australia.
