Looks like Logitech M570 is the only option out there. Flipkart does not sell it themselves. The two sellers have poor reputation. I wonder what I should do.

Ordered. Final price: Rs. 3,172.75. Good deal 😛
MasterCard Credit Card worked fine with the MasterCard related Coupon. It showed 7.5% discount. Standard Chartered Coupon was for 6%. My Yes Bank debit card is MasterCard so I could have used that. But StanChart CC was accepted just fine.

I do not necessarily like the build quality of this product. Very un-Logitech. Giving it a try. For now it is a headache to use because well it is a totally different way of interacting with the mouse cursor.

how did i miss this thread :tongue:i have been using this for ~1 year and if you remember, i recommended you to get this from US when your friend was coming over.@usage, you will get used to it in few days(10-15 at max) and then its really comfortable.@build quality, i am not sure whats wrong with yours, mine is fine. Of course, because of the trackball, you might think this thing is not solid, but its not going anywhere soon. Also the trackball comes off(for cleaning purposes) and that's why it feels sorta shaky.will post cons a lil later

The shaky curson thing still persists. I am guessing the USB polling rate is the problem. Have tried like 4 high quality devices on it until now. Would probably change my desktop setup early next year.

Mouse seems to work much better on the new box. So I am guessing old motherboard had some issues.
Using mouse after such a long time, it's a funny feeling.
Need to find a decent mouse pad again now. 😕

The trackball showed red lights yesterday. I guess the batteries are running out. Today it is back to green. I guess it is time to keep a duracell battery for backup. Would hate to be stuck with a dead trackball in the middle of the night!
