same happened to me too last nite,...sify went mad last nite,..was getting download speeds of 145KBps...yup thats right KB !!!!downloaded 70% of ring2 in like 2hrs odd (700 mb file)...frekkin amazing !!!hope this happens always !!! :lol:
 
for tow days, i got the speed of 1.6 mbps on sify on my 128 night only package.it was a week ago. 🙂 .i have download a longhorn cd but i was corrupt. :angry:
 
The max i have touched is 256 kbps on a 48 kbps pack a couple of months back, just before Sify changed its plans the last time (guess they were re-configuring their servers so is another plan change on cards?) . So I atleast managed to touch TRAI's defintion of broadband 😛.
 
yeah happened last night to me.....attachin the screenshot for flashget and kazaa....

it was consistent till mornin 6:00 A.M and started around 9:00 PM the day before.

when i checked my account logs it stated that i wasn't logged in for that night, strange.

downloaded lot of stuff btw....around 4.5gb...all crap though....but it was lightning fast.


check the download speed for flashget in its status bar its over 440KBps




The max i touched was over 5304Kbps.....i had the screenshot somewhere in the forum

i am on 40Kbps U/L.

Tell us what did you do to get that speed?What can be reason?

Is there any programmer who can catch this loop-hole in sify?and tell us what could be the reason

This happens to me lot i get over 200KB/s but it's not happening now
