Whenever I come to this site my acrobat reader open on its own ( using IE). All other sites r working fine. Is it just for me or everyone who use this site ?
 
I never experienced this. Are you simultaneously opening any web page with pdf in IE or you are just browsing through this forum?

I don't realise the reason to use such a heavy and bulky package just to read and edit pdf files, when lightweight and free substitutes like Foxit are available.

one more reason to use linux 😛same adobe version, plugin from adobe, same PDF file but wont compromise Linux!
 
so is that a problem with the file format or the windows adobe reader software? what about the free foxit reader? will that be affected by a malicious PDF file? i guess newsman won't answer that, he's just a freaking bot 🙂
 
Of course Microsoft is to be blamed! They were the first ones to offer a working solution to the regular office worker while the others were building enterprise class security into their (even now) barely usable operating systems. Now that every one is used to run as admin on Windows, how to convince them that this is bad for the them and the system!
