really high speeds on sify broadband

sometimes i get really high speed around 120KBPS ie 120*8=1600kbps .then i start downloa inall the crap i can find but all this speed drops at once nad comes to normal 6-7KBPSthis happens rarely it hapnend to me thrice.anyone have idea why it happens

It's just some glitch on Sify servers. They sit on all this bandwidth and loot us in the daylight so some of the bandwidth sometimes escapes from under their nose lol.I have also had 128 kbps for 8 hours at one time and 256 kbps for around the same number of hours at another. Infact many members here have faced such remarkable speeds sometime or the other.

I am not getting 120"KBps .....but am happy with 120kbps on my 48kbps packWhats happening to sify?

I once got a very high speed, even higher than 120 it lasted only for about 5 seconds though. I checked the download of the file, I know for sure it was not downloaded before and since it was large enough for it not to be completed the amount downloaded also confirmed the actual speed of the download.

Im getting this much speed on my 32 KBPS 6 month unlimited pack....see the attached file

btw nowadays i get around 90 kbps on a 48 kbps pack, when the network is up.

how can u get 120KB/s speed on a 48kbps pack?This forum is going mad now

If u are correct then tell us did u do any tweaks?How did u get it?

Its true . I got abt 150 KBPS flat ( yes 150 KB/s ) . ANd it lasted for few hours .. Its some funny sh*t on sify servers and no client was running on my pc still it went for hours .. I have had many such experiences since last year ...

Sify Officer it's not a lie. As I said Sify sits on a bandwidth treasure and keeps it away from its subscribers. If bandwidth was really this expensive then Sify would have made big losses from these bandwidth leaks. How do people get such huge speeds occasionally and even sometime without logging on?It proves that Sify's bandwidth controls and login client mechanisms are just facades. It has the bandwidth to provide to us at economical rates, but it still sits on it.
