Complained the MTNL ppl and i think its going well as of this month !
I think will complaint every month if this works 😛

I am an existing mtnl user using a 2mb plan, was planning either to upgrade to 8mb or vdsl, I am under a km from my tele exchange, any suggestions?

I would suggest 8 Mbps on ADSL itself.. unless you are too fond of 2 Mbps extra speed in vdsl (i.e 10 Mbps ) 🙂

Since my port has changed to SOTL system, I may actually get back on VDSL.
Those on 182.56 IP series (New Alcatel system), kindly request a port change to SOTL which is on 120.xx IP series. You need to personally go to your local exchange to get the job done. All your problems will vanish.

Is anyone able to check their usage off late? This is the website we use to check. This is for our office VDSL conneciton btw.

Login happens, but when we click on 'Uage Information', it throws a blank page, nothing happens. It has been like this for a few weeks I think.
Tried different browsers too, same result.

Just wondering if anyone has a CELLPipe 7130 modem for MTNL VDSL?

I was one of the first users, but MTNL authorities at Malabar Hill (and Fort) keep saying that they have no spare VDLS modems!

Also, this modem is OLD:

Firmware Version
CT-v1.0.0.5
Release Date
2008/09/02 12:00

Anyone know how I can get them to change my modem? They always say there are no other spares.

The modem has to be rebooted at least 10 times a day.

I just bought a ZyXEL VMG1312-B30A from Europe, but in this firmware I cannot see any configuration for "Hybrid VLAN" which the CELLPipe VDSL modem uses - any ideas?

Thanks!

fwiw.. try putting the modem in bridge mode. i had a lot of issues with the argt 1040. in bridge mode i get steady 10 hr sessions. the cell pipe one is as much crappy as the argt1040

I tried the MTU at 1400 - waiting to see if it helps...

Then will go ahead with other testing.

However, would like to get the other newer modem configured too...
