ok. i had another major downtime. the forum had been running on a dedicated server with 50 or so other sites since the last couple of months. looks like it was not enough.i have now moved it to a new dedicated with just one other site running on it. took a while coz i had to changeover manually. directadmin > cpanel.now. i have tried to fix everything i could but i think some things would still be dead. if you guys face any problems just mention it here and i will if i could fix that for ya. also. do comment if you find the forum's performance better/worse than before.

RSS was dead. it should be fixed now!

how many of you are facing the problem where www.broadbandforum.co is not working and broadbandforum.co is?

I'm using the one that comes built in with firefox.. ive got ten other feeds though.. they work fine even when the one for this forum doesnt :-s

well i prefer using firefox because all i want to do is read some news in my spare time.. with dedicated readers, it tends to get overwhelming.. 🙄

@SushubhHave changed your server again last night ?? It is not opening via my mtnl connection from 11:30pm yesterday. I am currently accesing it via a proxy.

I have all sorts of dns probs, At times its okay with broadbandforum.co and at other times im redirected to www.broadbandforum.co and gives me a - server not found!
Atm im over proxy.

I'm experiencing major downtime.... Is it because I'm blocked or something? I couldn't open this site from 11:30 to 7:30 in the morning. I couldn't open this site earlier in this week, with different errors such as - "Page not found", "The seller has ran out of resources" or "The username does not exist".

I have not been able to access the forum for a cpl of days..site woudl not resolve, maybe it was a DNS prob or whatever...funnily enough the feeds seem to have come through ok.i use opera as my rss reader.

what dns servers are u using guys? try the opendns ones... they seem to work awesome for me. the server uptime has been excellent. i really have not seen any downtime since the last 2-3 days ever since i moved onto it. 😕
