Horrible Service by Tikona in Bangalore - Hebbal Kempapura

This is a verbatim transcript of an email I sent their contact center manager j.nair@tikona.in today
Hi all
I know that Mr. Nair will not read this email. All your customers who post their grievances on your forum cannot be wrong
I have a 4Mbps unlimited connection - User ID 1107736051
I stay in Bangalore and am connected through the Vishesh Complex Access Point
On and off I have been facing problems with the connection : No connection or dropping connection or low speed
The latest instance was yesterday
a) At 12:34 PM I tried your toll free number - the standard recording said that all agents were busy. Instead of offering a callback option, the message said that my number was noted down and that I would get a call back - that never happened.
b) At 8:14PM I tried the number again - this time I was told that the wait time was 5 minutes and was offered a callback option that I took - that callback did not happen either
c) At 8:50PM I called the tolled number and spoke with Aniketh believing that that the earlier callback requests were logged. I demanded that he puts his manager on the line. He said that if I want a manager I have to email this id. He did not even bother to understand why I was asking for a manager
d) From 8:50PM to 9:30PM I tried to send mails from both my Yahoo account and my daughter's gmail account - obviously neither went through because of the network speed issue
e) At 9:44 PM Rupesh took my call, confirmed that Aniketh had requested a senior to call me back and that the callback did not happen.
f) He 1st mentioned that he was unable to access the Bangalore AP. However on the 3rd attempt he was able to and said that the AP was good and that my roof top device was dropping signals. He organized an engineer's visit today
g) Your local engineer Raju ( Ph 9035882309 ) got the connection through but was not able to fix the speed issue. He said the issue was with the main Access point and that he would log a complaint with the concerned team. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave.
h) I called you tech support line around 1PM and spoke with Neha ( tolled number ) who said that the problem was not with the Access Point but with the roof top device. When I wanted to speak with a senior she offered a callback in 1 hour - that did not happen
i) I called back around 2:30PM spoke with a lady called Shalaka - who also offered a call back that did not happen
j) By that time we had a power outage and there was no power when I spoke with a person called Dinesh who said he was an L2. When I demanded that he puts a manager on the phone he said that ( a ) there were no managers on the phone and that he was the senior most person and ( b ) that if I wanted a manager I had to mail you.
k) Please tell me how on earth does a customer with a poor / dead internet connection mail your team in an emergency when your other staff are not helpful
My technical issue is still not resolved. What I have seen about Tikona till now is that :
1) You are a bunch of cheats - your IVR tells lies ( the callback requests are never logged ), your seniors do not heed the callback requests logged with your L1 agents.
2) When you reply to a customer's grievance it is very often in the form of an automated email that does not address the customer's issues
This mail goes verbatim on to your grievances forum and all other forums where Tikona customers have complained about your service
If any one wants to call me do so before 11:30AM - after that I leave for work and am not back till after 11:30 PM. I do not take personal calls when I am at work

Simple question is that why u wanted call backs even though many have a good commonsense that these type of facilities donot work majority of time?????
 
I stay at the same place. why tikona? no one in this forum suggest you that.you have options for BSNL and Airtel @kempapura . Even though airtel is quite expensive,you can try bsnl.
 
I did not say that anyone did. I did not go with BSNL due to all the construction, digging work going on for the past 5 yrs in Kempapura. You may be aware that last month about 200 connections were lost when contractors brought in JCBS to do some pipe laying work
Airtel does not provide a wired connection in this area any more. Though their 4G speed is good their fair use policy is limited to 9GB
Call backs is not what I want - it is what their system and agents provide to dump a customer who is ready to stay on the line and get his issue resolved.
The callbacks offered by their IVR is never logged in your case records. When you actually get to speak with an agent you find that he is completely clueless about the message
My Point is that these guys are cheating customers by making offers they never intend to honour
 
There was a problem till last December and from December 10th of last year, I have nt faced any telephone line issue. Road work near godrej has been set right and even the service road opposite to godrej where pillar lies from exchange has been set right.
Yes, some of the bsnl officials were lazy those time, now the jto/sde are changed(better than the previous one),this change happened last time when I blasted DGm at R.T nagar and when they got letter from cmd p.a to R.T nagar dgm and from pgportal. BSNL Is a govt body we can make things right here, even if they don listen to you.
where as like ISp like in Tikona , they act how they want.
Airtel provides Wired broadband near esteem mall/poorvankara/ near syndicate bank they have no underground lines near bhuvaneshwari nagar.
 
I too suffered horrible speed drops two days back. Intermittent connectivity.
Called the CC, they sent a rep and it turns out that everything was fine.. only the device had almost fallen down and the wire had become loose. It took him five minutes to get it back in action. Probably the monsoon effect.
I was embarrassed that I had not checked the device before calling CC.
 


:O Tikona is horrible in calculating usage data
My plan is 2 mbps upto 20GB afterwards 512 kbps, but for me the speed has been reduced to 512 kbps after consuming 17GB of Data, and in that 1GB of data is consumed without assigning an IP-address, something serious problem is there in their backend.

Have complained, lets hope for a resolution

Its not working as my tikona connection is using airtel gateway. Other than airtel gateway its perfect n loading

The fact that you replied today to a customer's complaint from the 9th of June, shows how much you "Care" for your customers.
Obviously you would not like to mention that I had another connection issue in July. This was resolved only I contacted your Chairman and his team directly by mail.
I knew there was no point mailing Jaikrishna Nair, his team, customer care or your feedback team
I mailed Prakash Bajpai, Heramb Ranade, Yugal Sharma, Rakesh Khurmi and Tarun Kumar.
If you wonder how I got these names a) a close friend of mine who had similar problems got a solution only after mailing this team, and ( b ) these email ids are freely listed in forums where Tikona customers have complained.
I strongly advocate to all Tikona users who are fed up with their services - ignore the customer care team - mail the chairman's office directly
You will not believe that after the issue was resolved Jaikrishna Nair sent me a mail marking his Chairman and team on the mail "thanking me for my patience"
Tikona Customer Care SUCKS!!!

rooftop device dropping connection and you say you checked the connection from your office??? loll
 
naa i meant about tikona care when i say rooftop device not working they would say they checked and everything is working fine...how could they check when they havent visited the location?
