Within days for Galaxy Star appearing online in the country, Samsung has officially announced the launch of the smartphone. According to a press release issued by the company, Samsung Galaxy Star has got a maximum retail price (MRP) of INR 5,240, however as we have already told you, it will selling for just INR 4,990 online.

Running on Android 4.1, Samsung Galaxy Star is powered by 1GHz single-core Cortex A5 processor. The phone packs a 3-inch QVGA display and comes with 2MP rear camera, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
Samsung Galaxy Star also support dual-SIM cards with Smart Dual-SIM feature, which allows users to receive calls on one SIM number while taking a call from the other.

How much lower can you go than the Galaxy Pocket / Y Duos Lite ? Is Star not another clone?

Yes you can say that it may be the clone of lite or pocket but that's make Samsung popular and demanding because they keep on changing the model and bring some new stuff to the market.
